Beta 2 Changes
Tuesday, August 23, 2005 4:04 AM
Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of upgrading an application written in Beta 1 to Beta 2.  WITHOUT THE INTERNET!!  :-S

Anyway, the biggest changes are that folder names have changed.  For instance, Code is now App_Code and Data is now App_Data.  Also, CodeBehind and ClassName have been removed and replaced with CodeFile and Inherits to be more compatible with v1.x Web applications.

Turkish Grand Prix Results
Sunday, August 21, 2005 2:39 PM
Well, Kimi won, but it could have been better.  Alonso still managed to rob second from JP Montoya (gaining vital points) as a lapped Jordan rear-ended Montoya and destroyed his diffuser.

Woohoo!  Looks like it's going to be an exciting race tomorrow!  Let's hope Kimi's car doesn't let him down.  I'm sure he can win this race!

Philippines: DSL/Cable Providers
Saturday, August 13, 2005 11:13 AM
Need a recommendation for a good broadband provider here in the Philippines.  I've heard a lot of negative comments about PLDT myDSL (with regards to their customer service), so I'm not sure I want to sign up there.  Any other recommendations?

Day 4 in Microsoft
Thursday, August 11, 2005 2:06 PM
They simply don't make enough hours in a day.  Today was spent looking at content available and planning for some upcoming events, one of which is the ISV Community Days, which involves training developers in ISVs (independent software vendors).  Aside from the technical training, we'll probably also do something fun, so that's definitely something to look forward too.  Another thing that I have in mind is the launch of Visual Studio 2005 and in particular doing something special for students around this - look out!
