Just a quick note. My sister has wi-fi in her house. Sweet! I knew she had a broadband connection but the wi-fi is new. Gotta love it.

I visited a supermarket here in The Bahamas. Most of the products are the same as in a US store of the same company. Who knew that Winn-Dixie was an international company? Somehow I always want other countries to be more different, more foreign somehow. They are and they are not. The money looks nice and different. On the other hand there is a one to one relationship with the US dollar so my US money works just fine. That's not a bad thing as it makes my life easier.

But after passing a McDonald's and a Burger King in the car riding from the hotel to my sister's house I am hoping that I'll get some real Bahamian food at some time during my visit. After all, if the food isn't different what's the point?
