Well I’m really on a roll these days. For the third time in I think three trips I am spending an unplanned night in a hotel near an airport because of travel problems. This is delaying my vacation another day at least. Instead of driving to the mountains tomorrow morning I will not even be home where I can start until supper time. We’ll make a decision tomorrow sometime as to if we will wait until Monday morning to leave.

I have to admit that I am pretty disappointed about this delay. It’s a fact of life that travel delays happen because of weather, over booking or mechanical problems.  Usually I try to plan some flexibility around my travel but lately either I am not planning enough or my luck has just been bad. I think I’m going to avoid travel by air for a while.

The airline put me up in a hotel for the night. I have been having a lot of trouble getting the wi-fi to work. It may be related to the beta software I am running but it may be something else. The worst thing is that I am paying for it.
