last year I posted a picture of our Christmas tree before it was decorated. I fuly intended a before and after (decoration) but never got around to taking the after picture. Well this year I have an after picture.

It looks pretty good I think. The Christmas tree at our house reflects the different traditions of my wife and I. She grew up with fake trees and heavier ornaments. I grew up with real trees and light glass ornaments. Our tree these days has some of both kinds. We also have some special ornaments - some hand made - some from special paces - that set our tree apart from those we grew up with. For many years we had a fake tree but the last several years we have gotten real ones. I like the real ones better even though they are more work. I think they look better even though the modern fake trees look a lot more real these days. And the smell of evergreen tree is not something one can really copy.

Well it is really Christmas season now.
