this is a question I hear quite often and somehow I agree that this is sometimes a real issue. On the other side I know that there is a lot of information published by us - not do mention the huge number of non microsoft web-sites.
On of those sites is http://www.microsoft.com/events/ where you can find a large number of Webcasts which gives you a lot of information at different levels.
