Three Body Problem
Wednesday, June 22, 2005 5:31 PM
http://www.geom.uiuc.edu/~megraw/CR3BP_html/cr3bp_bg.html
not about trinity...
It's a problem about the movement of three objects in space.
The problem is not solved yet, only special case is solved.
The special case is the one with two big objects and one small object.
The case's solution can be applied to the trajectory prediction of a spacecraft orbiting around the Earth and the Moon.

You may read more about the topic if you are interested in it.

Time Sequence
Thursday, June 02, 2005 7:12 AM
To summarize what has been mentioned about China's history,
I present those impoartant events in a time sequence:

4600 B.C.
There are mystries about this period, where there were Yellow Emporer, Tang, Yu who shift their regime not by election but by recommendation.

There were a great engineer on river management, Xia-Yu.
There are words on the bones of animals describing Shang Dynasty.

Zhou Dynasty:

Spring-Autumn, Military Nations period:
hundred schools of thoughs.
Confucious

Qin Dynasty:
Qin 1st King
the Great Wall

Han Dynasty:(221 B.C.)
LiuBang and XiangYu
Chinese first history book is written by SiMa-Qien

to be continued...more Chinese history behind.
What's more, AD begins at Han Dynasty, and that means:
Jesus was born!
Merry Christmas!

hohoho......Santa Claus is coming to town....

Grand Gate Banquet
Saturday, May 28, 2005 2:31 AM
The revolution to the Qin 1st Emporer is initiated by people around all corners. Finally there are 2 leaders waiting to take the authority.
They are LiuBang and XiangYu.
Before that, there is a famous banquet called Grand-Gate Banquet.
XiangYu invite LiuBang to attend the banquet, and his officer FanZheng hint him to kill LiuBang as soon as possible, so that XiangYu can be the emporer. But XiangYu is so undecisive, so finally LiuBang escapes to his millitary camp by saying he wants to go to the toilet.

Qin 1st Emporer
Monday, May 23, 2005 3:10 PM
Qin (pronounced like Chin) 1st Emporer,
is the first man who united the great China.
Before that, it's Zhou(周)dynasty, where the main land is divided into many nations, ruled by many kings.
100 schools of thoughs is that time, too.

The importance of Qin 1st Emporer is that:
1) He united the China
2) He united the unit of length, weight, etc.
3) He united the money used in daily life
4) He united the Chinese words - at least the characters

Besides, he also united the walls built by previous kings,
and finally becomes the Great Wall.

Why not let the Qin 1st Emporer stayed longer?
Because he ruled people with strict rules.
He burned all the books, because he wanted to control people's minds.
He moved all the rich people live near the capital.
He wanted to live forever, so many people are finding long-live drug for him.

Finally, everyone can no longer put up with his regime,
and here comes the revolution.

After 221B.C. Qin dynasty terminated and begins the Han dynasty.
The process of revolution is another story.
And the pros and cons of the Qin 1st Emporer remains to be disputed.
