The 7.15pm News Update
Today, Mr Oh had an early day starting at 5.30am. After a string of morning rituals including bowing in front of the mirror and staring at washing basin and brushing his teeth with 1 eye open and a short sit on his white porcelin throne.
He later a bowl of Coles Farmland cereal with skim milk approved by the National Heart Council's 'Tick' program. Mr Oh began trotting to Uni at around 6.45am - 7am.
On the way to Uni, he was stared suspiciously by one of the Merlin Cafe's staff as he walked a few meters behind her on the way to Uni. Naturally, the lady staff member would think only a person of dubious character would be awake at this hour. On second thought, it could be Mr Oh's Armani Exchange (A|X) sweater hood which painted him the street urchin look.
Mr Oh began logging in his email and immmediately was sucked into a typical office trap called the 'Email Time Blackout' (see 'Blogging Timetrap'). He was sucked in reply a bunch of seemingly harmless looking files with *eml extension using Outlook Express (ed: Mr Oh has frequently professed his personal disappointment that he is such a fan of Microsoft products. He tried to move away but he is just drawn by the the power and useability of MS products).
Realising he was too late to head to the gym for a 2 hours workout, Mr Oh began his preparation as the student co-ordinator for Monash University Academic Support Skills day. It involves coordinating the movement of varies teams from cross facultities to the various workshops and other fire-fighting stuff as minor issues occured.
After a very long day and felling into a nap after an early dinner in his office, Mr Oh began the task of installing Visual Studio 6 on his office machine and later reinstalling Visual Studio.NET 2003 (read 'VS 03 installation time trap'). Meanwhile, Mr Oh learnt from his seniors (Masters student) that he and his sister are a victim of a ICQ worm.
Mr Oh was gravely shocked. He could not believed that he was a victim of an internet icq worm. This is the first time something like that has happened to someone like Mr Oh. He prides himself on weekly windows update and anti-virus updates as well safe internet practises. It never dawn on him that a simple url from an icq message could contain a worm.

Our reporting team latest status check on Mr Oh reveals that he is blogging down all the bits and pieces of things that happened today on his blog. And he is about to head for the gym after his blogging exercise.
Certainly Mr Oh is not one to disappoint his regular blog column fans.
Tune in to the day after tomorrow when Mr Oh reports on his trip with Monash International Big Day out on the beach. Also are his tedious efforts to learn to write a COM object over the weekend without near to nil knowledge of COM and C++.
This has been Anthony Jude for Kay-poh News Network for the 7.15pm News Update.
