Road collapses in Singapore

A part of Nicoll Highway just outside the central business district caved in at 3.30pm on Tuesday. Police say support beams in an underground construction site for the Mass Rapid Transit system's new Circle Line gave way. One body has been found so far. [more]

Its sometimes rather hard to believe that things like this can happened in Singapore. We pride ourselves as being so well organised and everything being controlled. Sometimes things like this just reminds us otherwise.
