A Mixed Day
What a mixed day this has been. Its 5.19pm here in Melbourne and I will leave the office after blogging.
Last evening, I attended a dinner in NewQuay, one of the new harbourside area the Victoria government is trying to startup. It was very fancy and the food plus the company is good. Everyone else on the table had wine except my mate and I. I had water and hot chocolate for drinks.
Had a prawn cocktail for entree, a snapper fillet for main and a yougurt cheese with some strawberries ... yummy. After such a good meal, I headed straight to bed.

Got up this morning, the kitchen was in a mess. My housemates do not bother to clean up after using the kitchen. I tried to lead by example and clean up the place but it doesnt work. Signages, personal chat ... nah.. tried those .. didnt work.
Had a bowl of the usual, cereal, milk and a mug of milo and my Centrium tablet and headed to Uni.
Did a 3km run in the morning and proceed with my workout. But I am feeling muscles feeling very heavy and tired. Didnt finished my workout. Left out two items. Very disappointed with myself.
Did some admin and soon left to perform my lounge duty for 1 hour. Brought my notes to do some filing as well as reading up on a lecture which I missed this Monday morning while trying to finish my research paper assignment. Head to the local Indonesian restaurant for lunch. It was really yummy. They introduced a new item in their nasi padang spread. Its steamed ikan belis with tofu in a otah like paste ;)
Went on to teach CSE1200 this afternoon, had a minor incident, telling off a student that I didnt care what he feels about a particular item as long as he didnt disrupt the class. This student doesnt attend the lecture but attends the tutorial (but doesnt do the tutorial work) just to meet the attendace requirement for this unit.
After class, left my office soon after to meet another lecturer, Dan Eavens to discuss about how to visualise my log data which my profiler is generating. I have another 9 weeks, to write my thesis and complete the project. At this point, I dun know what is my project in its entire form. I am feeling very worried. I dun want to over exaggerate but there are a lot of work at hand. Maybe a bit too much, but who says Honours is easy. But I think I have stretched myself too think with my other commitments.
Got back into my office, learnt that the cd which I ordered has arrived. Its the latest Fabric cd.
Gonna head to the music store and pick it up. Just 20mins from Uni. After which, gonna head home to make dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Tomorrow being Friday, Im having fish n vege meal ... no red meat.
Bringing my laptop home with me. Hope to be able to complete my CSE4500 tutorial before class tomorrow. Tomorrow has its own matters to take care. Should be heading to the city for mass either in the afternoon or morning. Anyway, I need to go to bed at 10pm tonight if I want to get up at 5am tomorrow morning.
