NS cut by 6 months
Wah! Headlines news ... National Service cut down by 6 months. Times are changing man ... about 6 months after I left the service, they introduced an allowance payrise after how many zillions years. These days even a Private earns about the same amount as I used to. That was about 2 years back ....
Now the biggest shock is the reduction to the NS liability, down from 2.5 years to 24 months ...
