Anyone got a 100 bucks to spare?
Pss .. I really like this pair of sneakers ... I guess I hook on the sneakers culture now. If you got a 100 bucks to spare, want to pass me some so that I can get a pair these sneakers for myself (see below). Otherwise ...please spare a buck for your local charity.
What is the point of this blog?
a) If you are looking for a new pair of sneakers, why not check out Asics's Onitsuka Tiger line www.onitsukatiger.com
b) Spare a thought for your local charity, buy your "needs" and not feed your "wants". One thing about the capitalist society we are living in these days, everything seem almost affordable. It will do us good to stop and think, do I really need another pair of sneakers?
Do you have a preference to which charities you support? I do ... I usually support catholic charity groups like St Vincents and the Cancer Society. I personally feel that that it is commendable that there are people out there raising funds for African kids etc, but what about the struggling people in your own neighbourhood? IMHO, people should be reflect what is their main reason for doing charity esp those one thing off thingy like those roadshows for World Vision?
I do believe there are some people out there who hanker for a "feel good session" for themselves. c) The sneakers above looks really good, hey =)
