Adult-Proof Internet Software for Safer Browsing

If we have software to safeguard children on the Internet especially those undesirable sites. How come we don't have one version for ADULTS? A software to protect them from phlishing, pop-ups, internet scams, free anti-spyware, make money from the internet, free golf screensavers "yeah right?" etc

My mum actually believed in one of them and asked me to sign up for one of those work-from-home-and-make-money-from-the-internet seminar. "They got free lunch and free gifts mah" .... what a load of crap.

Anyway, justice is done. That company was featured on Today's headlines ("On free lunches and costly battles"). In her defence was, as long as you don't sign up for their program then you don't lose any money and win a free lunch. Yeah right! To attend such seminar, you have to supply them with your particulars to register. Duh!

Singaporeans simply don't value their privacy. Singapore does't have a Privacy Act like in Australia where organisations have to stipulate how they manage your personal particulars. The people here just give away their information so freely. Wait till they get spammed the daylights out of their mailbox.

Lots of older people get confused easily by the stuff they read on the internet. I worry about some of my older family as well.
