Knock! Knock!
Yes?
Bernard, have a look at this month's credit card and mobile bills.
This month's mobile bill is pretty high. Your Thailand roaming calls and smses alone cost more than $24!
Oh, here is the credit card bill. You better watch how you spend money, more than $4200!
But Mum, my Australian Permanent Residency application (charged to the credit card too) costed $2404.82 alone. I thought we are suppose to share the cost of it?

Man ... I really need to start real full time job. Contract work is not good enough. Sure the money from contract work is good on paper but there are other intangible stuffs like company perks, healthcare plan, promotion, bonus, seniority etc. I want to still see 4 digits in my bank account.
I should be fine to weather this storm. Money from my previous contract teaching engagements is sufficient to pay off this debt. No extra bits for the stupid credit card company to earn from.
Actually, I reckon I’m quite a lousy credit card customer for the banks. I don’t rollover my credit card balances, no overdrafts facilities, don’t travel that often for them to earn my money on foreign exchange, use my credit card often enough for them to waive my annual fees … kekekekek
I reckon I can save a bit to stay away from buying new cds, espresso drinks and restaurant meals. Now I need to find the best instant coffee money can buy. If that is ever possible to find, the words “best” and “instant coffee” in the same sentence?
