My fav dance record labels tend to be those who are avant-garde, progressive and creative. I want to be educated by the artist/DJ, introducing me to new mixes, artists and styles. That is why I am wary of pop labels like Global Underground (GU) main label, Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi.
The other day I passed by a Dirt Cheap CD store and the white Sander Kleineberg's cover caught my eye and and decided to pick up his Global Underground Nubreed 04 album. I haven't had a new house cd for awhile and it was only $10, why not?
After I played the first few tracks, I could not help it but my body started to recognise, "Hey! This is good stuff!". Sander's style is fun, positive and fresh, even for a CD that was released in 2001, it still sounds current. Check out the Amazon reviews.
