I stumbled upon this interesting article "To SP or not to SP in SQL Server" from DeveloperFusion about whether should all our database access/ transactions be stored as store procedures. I think it's a pretty useful read, I really like the manner they try to dedate from both sides of the arguement.

Lots of little nuggets of goodies. I think you should even bookmark it to your developement resources folder (I'm pretty sure everyone has such a folder somewhere ...) inside Your Favourites.
