A Green Microsoft

I'm a greenie (environmental causes, not political views) at heart. Back in Uni days, I introduced the waste paper recycle bin and encouraged the use of printing paper with partial post consumer component. Everyone in B3.50 (our Honours office/home) actively recycled our unwanted journals papers by disposing them into the recycle bin and I would clear it every fortnight. Gradually everyone in the office realised that printing papers with post consumer content is just as good as virgin pulp paper except better for the environment. Everyone in the office felt better after contributing their part to a better world.

Likewise Microsoft is also actively trying to improve its green efforts around Redmond and Mountain View campuses as reported in this article. Would it be nice if some of these practices are introduced to the subs too? Imagine free commute to work on Sydney bus if you flash your bus stamp :)
