One of my other New Year’s Resolutions apart from blogging was to spend time partaking in some of the more cultural benefits that London and the rest of Europe has to offer rather than just going out to the pub or just going to watch Rugby matches. So with the help of my partner in crime, Teresa from the Microsoft EMEA Mobile Devices Team, we kicked off the year in style with a trip to see the latest spectacle from Cirque du Soleil, Dralion at the Albert Hall in January. For those that maybe haven’t yet experienced the delights of Cirque du Soleil think acrobats on steroids.
So last night Teresa and I headed off to the Haymarket Theatre to see the new stage version of 'When Harry Met Sally' directed by my best friend’s sister Loveday Ingram and starring Luke Perry of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame and Alyson Hannigan from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Whilst en route it transpired that all that we actually remembered about the film was the classic “restaurant scene” and something about men and women not being able to be JUST friends. Anyway IMHO the stage version doesn't disappoint, there's some great one liners plus you get the added bonus of glimpsing Luke Perry's cheeks from close up (and not the ones on his face..).
And finally for some advanced warning if you don't enjoy movies, the theatre, sport and travelling then you probably want to unsubscribe from my blog for a while.
