Recently on my way back from Miami after the Imagine Cup I was killing time in the airport and got to perusing ‘Stupid White Men’ by Michael Moore. Love him or hate him Moore really does pack a punch with his intelligent wit and forthright views and as a result on returning to the UK I thought I would go and see his latest film offering Fahrenheit 9/11. In case you haven’t seen this docu-movie yet or haven’t seen the trailer this is his take on what happened to the US after the September 11 terrorist attack, the Iraq war, the search for Bin Laden and how the Bush Administration used the tragic event to push its own agenda. If you know Michael Moore then you know that he is not exactly enamoured with George Bush however at over 2 hours in length the movie is compulsive viewing (but probably best on DVD in the comfort of your own home) and really is food for thought. It contains some pretty amazing and gruesome footage and ends typically with Moore letting Bush do the talking for him: "There's a saying in Texas, Fool me once....shame on you. Fool me twice....well you're not going to fool me twice!"
