Imagine Cup Registration Deadline Looming

Just a quick reminder that time is running out to register for this year’s Imagine Cup student competition and to claim your free copy of Visual Studio .NET 2003 Academic Edition via theSpoke Premium before April 1 2005.

And for those of you that fancy your chances in the Software Design Challenge I just wanted to let you know some other good news. We’ve just announced that this year’s UK final will be sponsored by BT in association with 3i and Capgemini and the top 8 UK teams will be invited to show their stuff in front of a panel of judges from Microsoft, BT, 3i and Capgemini on June 21 2005 at the very stunning 640 foot high BT Tower in central London. You’ll also have the opportunity of showcasing your application in front of key journalists, leading academics and VIPs. And in addition to all the recognition that you’ll receive our sponsors will also be providing a whole host of great prizes. The top five teams will be invited to join a one-day venture capital workshop led by the global VC, 3i, at their London offices where you’ll get to learn how to transform your winning business concept into a commercially viable solution with real market potential.

So if you’ve got what it takes and are keen to earn both fame and fortune and to pit your wits against students from other countries in a multitude of different technology challenges then why not enter this year’s Imagine Cup and you could be celebrating more than just your birthday!

I wish all our competitors the best of luck (but not more than ourselves of course ;) ) and look forward to competing with them.
