Possible thesis ideas

I received a text message from Dr. John Paul Vergara asking if I wanted to pitch thesis ideas to this batch of seniors, so I am now in the process of assembling some possibilities. Large files ahead but if you have the bandwidth, check these out:

Chronos, Encyclomedia - a multimedia databasing system for history
Smart sketchpad from MIT - allows the creation of simulations through freehand drawings
Quiqui's Magic Bounce - a children's game that uses motion and sound recognition for the the interface
Carbon Trading Game - From Carlo Ricohermoso and Trina Florencio, batch 2005; I actually need someone to make a version for the grade school; Fr. Bobby Yap also has ideas for variants of this game
The Incredible Machine - surely you've heard of this one

I do not expect students to replicate these applications. I am posting them as possible jumping off points for thesis ideas.

To Aids: Thanks! I'm supposed to meet with your classes next week to discuss options. To Bit: This is true. I can bring it up if William hasn't done so already. I would even suggest the thesis of Alvarez, Tayag, Teotico, and Tormes re: the public transportation system thingy.
