Today's paper presentations were very well received. There were a lot of questions from the group and lots of people took down the URLs where they could use or download the software. Lots of people lined up to copy Elgine and Carolyn's module.
I keep thinking this niche area--simulations for basic education--is something Ateneo can really pursue. The applications are useful, practical, and curriculum-based. I think our students have a lot to contribute to basic education by creating modules like these more systematically. Hmm... do I detect a research group forming? Now if I can only get funding...
