No, my phone was not insured. It was a treo, though, and only a few months old.

The crime was non-violent. I was attending a seminar with maybe 50 other people. I put the phone down to hand my calling card to one of the speakers. When I came back to my table, it was gone. Stupid of me to leave it, but I thought with such a distinguished group... oh well.

Ma'am, in one of the Melbourne churches I frequented for mass, they always remind worshippers to bring along their bags when receiving Holy Communion.

There are people even dare to steal things in the House of God too ...
