Nasty; Father-in-law updates

Yesterday started out very well, but ended very badly.  Something at work completely imploded.  Just when I thought things were smoothed over, a subsequent conversation only made matters worse.  Things were said that probably shouldn't have been said, at least not in a professional capacity.

I tend to think no one was at fault. Everyone did what they were supposed to.  Things just didn't work out.  It was a failed experiment.  It's just that, in the process, people were inconvenienced, time was wasted, and, most significantly, egos were affronted, which is what I think made things deteriorate from bad to nasty.

But life goes on.

And speaking of life going on, my father-in-law had his first round of chemo last Thursday.  It doesn't look good.  The doctors only give him a 30% chance of getting better.  We'll know more in about one week.

Hey Didith,

May I recommend your father-in-law to check out "It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life" - Lance Armstrong(ISBN:0425179613)?

Lance's cancer odds weren't good in fact they were worse than your father-in-law but still a good dose of positive will power to combat the cancer helped him and his family.

I agree with Bernard ma'am. My grandfather was paralyzed before but was able to talk and walk again because he believes it's his will power that can cure him.

There is great power in prayer. Be faithful.

Thanks, everyone. What I always remember during these times is the prayer of a very good friend. When her mother was diagnosed with cancer, she prayed for the best possible outcome, but left it to God's wisdom to determine what that was.

I also wish your father-in-law well :) I'm sure he appreciates all the love and support you guys are giving him.

Let's leave it to God's answer through prayer. He alone knows of the answer
