Nanny was up and about by yesterday lunch. We kept telling her to get back to bed, but I think she was going nuts just lying there. She seemed perfectly normal again this morning, but we are keeping an eye on her.
Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes.

Google has been an amazing sponsor. Last year, they sponsored our trip to the World Finals in Shanghai. They consulted the ACM list of winning teams and wrote the coaches of participating teams, offering travel grants. At first, we thought it was a cruel hoax, but subsequent verification and a dollar check proved that it was completely genuine!
This year, we wrote them asking whether they could sponsor us again. To our delight, they said yes!

Prior to leaving for the World Finals, our team and coaches are practicing intensively. They've been sacrificing their Saturdays again. Come April, they'll be sequestered for four days and three nights at a secret location.
All I ask is a non-zero score.

And speaking of summer activities, we are finally, finally getting our long-envisioned-but-never-materialized summer computer camp off the ground. Neill Li, Eli Lao, Gretchelle Santos, Mick Tan, and Kendrick Saavedra are organizing it for us. It is a two-week programming camp open to all incoming high school seniors. We have 30 slots and we only charge P150, to cover supplies.
At first, we were quite worried that the high schools would not respond to our invitation. This week, though, we began receiving the confirmations. In fact, they were asking for an extension of the deadline as well as teacher training! This program is showing some promise!
