Does googling verify existence?

So if I google someone's name and I get zero hits, does that mean the person does not exist? I tried to do a background check on someone who emailed me and came up with squat. I found that completely bizarre.

I find that fairly common. I guess it depends on who you are and what you have done. Also sometimes other people mask the ones you are looking for. My father, my son and I all have the same name. You'll have no trouble finding me but good luck finding them. And my father has done a lot more important things than I'll ever do. But I litter the Internet with my stuff. :-)
