After several tries, I finally got my fifth star in C#--hooray!  I'm not about to take any certification exams anytime soon.  Mostly, I'm glad that I've been reinitiated into programming.  There are arteries in my brain that have reopened and I am genuinely excited about learning more -- and there is SO much more to learn!

The last couple of days have been pretty tough. I've had to do things that are, well, unpopular.  I generally consider myself to be patient, but the last couple of days I've had little tolerance for error, laziness, or neglect.  I've had to cattleprod people into action--the word that comes to mind is draconian.  I've no doubt that I've made the top of certain people's s**tlist.  All I can say is, whatever I did, I did not out of malice or spite, but because it was part of my job.
