The garden at the back of the Jesuit Residence, an expansive plateu of thick grass, overlooks the Marikina Valley. Here, under the stars, is where the faculty and administrators gather for the post-graduation dinner. Imagine Fr. Ben, his collar unbuttoned, knocking back a San Mig Light. Imagine the faculty half-soaked with perspiration after steaming for three hours under our togas. Imagine the horror stories from the preceeding ceremony--of medals misplaced, of names misread, of Internet connections going down mid-broadcast. And imagine all of us laughing about it, thanking God for one more year, one more graduation, and one more batch behind us. Imagine us looking forward to the year ahead.
