Da Vinci, at last!

My husband and I tried to catch The Da Vinci Code last Wednesday. We arrived at the theater and, to our surprise, it wasn't showing anymore!  As it turned out, some government agency (forgot which one) threatened to close down theaters showing the film.  How crazy is that???

We finally caught it yesterday at the Gateway.  I think the whole furor was needless. As Robert Langdon says, "What matters is what you believe."

I agree with that statement made by Langdon. People who say things about this movie, more or less constricts their view of the matter... in such a term or slang as "being a nazi" or someone who closes his/herself from the things around and believes what he/she believes in is the norm. And for another time... this book and movie is just a work of fiction

I don't understand why people are making such a big fuzz about the movie or the book for that matter. Belief in God is always about faith if one factualize God what use would faith be.

I agree wholeheartly with Mdm Didth's comment. I have not read the book because I don't understand what is all the fuss about the content of the book. But nevertheless, I caught the movie because my friend wanted to watch it.

After I caught the show, I thought it was a very poor movie. The movie pace was rushed, the secret links were weak and I pitied those people who's faith suffered after watching the movie.

I felt a bit upset when I realised that several Churchs are spending precious funds to combat the "questions" raised by the books. Why? Those funds can be better spend in other ministries like St. Vincent de Paul etc.

Let others judge us by the fruits of our deeds and stay true to the purpose of Christ and the Church on earth.
