Selective memory

My father, I notice, has a selective memory.  He remembers things very differently from how we do. He has different interpretations of events.  He looks for confirmatory evidence of what he thinks or believes.

I think this is very human of him--we're all guilty of as much.  I think as we get older this becomes more and more stark.

Perhaps when I get older I'll become like that as well.

My wife says that I have selective memory too. But I insist that she remembers telling me things that she never really told me.

My friends say I have selective memory too. Grin, signs of premature aging I reckon :P
