Although Doc V and I see each other at work on a regular basis.  However, because we are both often treading water, we don't often get to chat.  When we do, we only do so briefly. Yesterday,  we had one of our rare and very brief opportunities to chat.  And the conversation was typical:

"O, how are you doing?"

"Hay, I'm so tired."

"What's the latest?"

<Followed by a compressed version of whatever the latest is.>

"OK, I have to go. I have a meeting."

Then it was back to treading water.
