During our last faculty meeting, the last item on the agenda was turnover. I started by saying, "Next year is my last year as chair..." William Yu interjected, "That's what you said last term."
Haha!
This time, there is no renewal in my future. I've asked to be excused after this term. Time to move on, for both me and for the department. I'll still be around, but it's time for a change.
