Damage Caps discussion

"Ironically - There was a post about this and I experienced it for the first really noticable time last night. We got a 70 Pally and she rounded up all of SM Cathedral. I Blizzed. I'm hitting for like 36 to 40 until some of the mobs die. So a few questions: 1. wow gold What's the Max Bliz can do. Meaning per tic When does this Damage Cap kick in. 4, 5, 7, 10 mobs. How many. 2. Is there a way to boost it. wow power level (Is it stackable with +Damage or +Frost stuff) 3. Does anyone else thing that it's sort of unfair. 4. wow gold Does the same exist for other/all AOE attacks. Ironically again, I believe certain Pally AoE attacks have no cap. But don't quote me on that... Also I believe the dmg cap is on dmg per tick, not # of mobs, though the two are obviously directly correlated in an AoE attack. What is the purpose of an AoE dmg cap anyway. How often does it really matter. wow power leveling 1ab. Somewhere near 3600 if you mean the highest rank. 1c. The Damage Cap kicks in when you have enough mobs that the potential amount of damage you would do exceeds the particular spell's damage cap. In the case of this Blizzard, the damage cap would kick in when you would do enough damage in a single tick of Blizzard to exceed 3600 damage. If you normally do 300 damage to each mob per tick of Blizzard, you'd need to be casting it on more than (3600/300=) 12 mobs for the damage cap to be noticed. wow level up 2. Nope. 3. Not unfair, persay, but could be much improved to scale with damage. There's a purpose to them.

4. Based on what I've seen, I'd think so, but that's inductive logic. All 7 Mage AoE spells have damage caps, and I've seen listed Seed of Corruption's damage cap, and have personally tested a Shaman and posted the Fire Nova totem's and Magma totem's damage cap. " .

PvPing For The Honor and Letting Fun Decide

"As a result of chatting with this Mage Lead, I headed directly towards the Battlemasters and begun the task of accumulating enough Warsong Gulch tokens (20) and Honor in general (just under 12k worth) to be able to afford the Vindicator's Silk Cuffs which I’ll be using to upgrade my current Level 66-green. Consortium Bracer of the Owl. wow honor leveling This epic cloth bracer that is restricted to Priest. Mage and Warlock use is apparently the best bracer and the easiest to get for a solo Mage player.pre-Karazhan, and some Mages have told me they would keep it past Karazhan as well. PvPing For The Honor and Letting Fun Decide I found that getting the 20 WSG tokens was much easier than getting the 12k honor, but that just meant I had more choice about my Battlegrounds after I had accumulated the 20 WSG tokens. and could therefore have more fun with the process. I’ve taken the time to learn the Eye of the Storm battleground for the first time since it was released and have quite enjoyed playing it although it doesn’t garner as much honor per round as Alterac Valley does. I’m still learning about what changes have occurred with Alterac Valley battleground itself as well - I played it for a number of months a year ago in order to earn my epic land mount. wow level service the Frostwolf Howler. but Blizzard has implemented various changes to the battleground since then and it’s changed some dynamics. I haven’t spent much time in Arathi Basin this time for no particular reason… At any rate. some rounds are great and I’m part of a team that pounds the Alliance into the ground, but some rounds are long and painful (especially in WSG!) and full of annoyed players whining on the Battleground line. Having started out with a bow.I didn’t realize that I was a bow-user until I played with a Tauren or two in my dungeon groups and realized just how insanely loud the guns were compared to the bows or the crossbows. I’ve tried to use guns myself when they’ve been higher DPS than my bow.but I inevitably find my way back to a bow as quickly as possible just to avoid the noise. Heck, when I’m partying with friends who use Guns over Bows, I find myself strafing and relocating where I do my DPS or heals from just so I don’t have to stand there right beside all that noise. Gearing Up Without Focus This toon is doing pretty well for gearing up without really even worrying about what dungeons and bosses I’m “supposed” to be hitting - the upgrades have slowed significantly, but I still run into cool upgrades that I didn’t even know were there, enough that my random attempts at daily dungeon quests or keying stages are fun and progressing well. I even got my Beast Lord Leggings the other day, replacing one of my last bits of Leather gear that I had around due to the better stats. Too bad my PvP/Gladiator shoulders and gloves are so bulky and, like, sooooo don’t go with the rest of my outfit… " .

"Well after a run of 8 fast levels I'm there level 58 and to night I get to see what I paid for when I got the expansion. What wonders will be waiting for me ... guild wars gold no don't tell me I want to be surprised! Well ok tell me LOL, This may seems strange for the first question but how do I get there I know there are portals I've seen them of course but which do I take or is there ones that I can't take because I'm still after all this time not high enough. You know it will be fine I can find my way to the other side np I'm sure but I have not seem any where that tells you the basics of how to get there for example or what is the first thing you do when you get there. Well if I have problems I can always ask someone in the guild questions but you know I never really thought about this until last night just as I ""ding"" and was about to sign off. Maybe there could be a little note somewhere on site (maybe I missed it and there is) and lets call it ""and now what"" or ""My next step"" or I guess maybe it is just me. wow profession leveling The way today is going is most likely me Well made it no problemto the other side and went up a level and a half in no time.
