Microsoft Campus Connection
Wednesday, October 05, 2005 8:32 PM

We've come along way from an idea that Blain and I had with help from Russ...

This was the end of MSSTART: http://miss.coba.usf.edu/images/MSSTART.JPG

This is the beginnings of Microsoft Campus Connection: http://miss.coba.usf.edu/images/1stMCC.jpg

Currently Microsoft Campus Connection is being deployed all across the country by Microsoft Across America team.

Thank you to Blain Barton [TechNet], Russ Fustino [MSDN] for making one of my dreams come true.

IE Dev Tool Bar
Monday, September 19, 2005 7:19 PM

I hope you all have heard already about IE Dev Tool Bar:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e59c3964-672d-4511-bb3e-2d5e1db91038&displaylang=en

PS: I had it crash IE using it with tabbed browsing provided by MSN Search bar [which is NOT beta, so it's ok - just have to use the IE Dev thing when I need it]

Indigo Road Show is HERE!
Sunday, July 31, 2005 7:20 PM
Indigo is the next-gen, unified messaging technology for .NET. Think web services and remoting with a single codebase.

Indigo Road Show - a special night time event for user groups will be coming through our area.

In Florida dates are Aug 9 in Fort Lauderdale (Hollywood Beach Marriott), and Aug 11 in Tampa (Radisson) at 600p. See www.indigoroadshow.com for more info or dates for other states.

Attendees will walk away with some good schwag, including:
  • An inside look at Microsoft’s next-generation web services platform
  • The ability to quickly build secure, reliable web services
  • David Pallmann’s Programming Indigo Beta1 book
  • A special DVD of the latest Indigo bits, content, labs, and demos
  • The chance to win T-shirts and an Xbox
Interestingly enough, FLL is at 88 of 220 capacity, and Tampa is at 102 of 220 capacity. Sign up quick! No more excuses =)
