Easter Vigil and Brainbench Exams
I just came from a 2 1/2 hour Easter Vigil that ran from 10am Saturday up to 12:30am Easter Sunday. I didn't expect it to be that long. I actually expected it to be at most around 2 hours.
Anyway, I was surprised to see that the church was full. It's not everyday nor every Sunday that you will see that the church has its 3/4 space occupied. But tonight (or last night), people were overflowing. Everything started with an enterpretative dance of I do not exactly what it was trying to portray. Hehe, It has been a tradition in our church to have some children do a presentation whenever there is a special occasion. There were three readings, an episle, a gospel and a homily. There was also a renewal of baptismal ceremony. It was one of the most fantastic church celebration I only see yearly. The priests were full force, around 5 of them co-celebrated the vigil. All the lay ministers as well as the all the sacristans were there to serve.
After the mass, our family decided to grab some bite from a 24-hour convenience store. Thank God for these convenience store. I didn't realize I wasn't able to take my dinner until my stomach begins to grumble at around 11am during the vigil, perhaps because of too much stuff I have been working on, doing Struts and compiling a CHM help file for our project application.
Oh yeah, today (Sunday), I took 10 of the basics Brainbench Certification exams and I'm proud that I got a Master status in 4 of them. The exams I took today were:
