I may be sick today but it didn't stopped me from being productive.
I had 2 events for today: Powerful Presentation Skills workshop and .NET Fest.
The Powerful Presentation Skills workshop were given to Microsoft Juniors (a.k.a. XPerts) to ready them for the upcoming projects. It was held at the Windows Room of the Microsoft Philippines office and was participated by some of the new members and I'm sure they had fun. I had to run early though because of the next event.
Next stop was the Philippine .NET Users Group .NET Fest event held in Astoria Plaza Hotel. It catered technical and intermediate-advanced levels of .NET Sessions. Topics covered were:
Getting On Track With MonoRail (Andre John Cruz)
WPF: Coding in Style (Jose Amilcar Reyes)
Patterns and Practices: ASP.NET Security (Warren Yu)
IT Careers and Opportunities Today (Roger Laciste)
Right now I'm feeling tired but quite contented. The .NET Fest left me with some new knowledge base to explore.
To all the chinese folks out there: Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Take care Spokedom!
