a glimpse of me...
Body Stamps
Sunday, October 21, 2007 6:44 AM
I know of a friend who recently got himself a tattoo. I was amazingly alarmed and I never imagined him imagining ever getting one. I guess his adventurous spirit would explain his decision.

Anyway, I got curious at the artistic nature of tattoos and looked around for some free tattoo designs. Not that I'm planning to get one, though. I just wanted to look around and see what could possibly look good as a stamp on my body. Geesh...couldn't imagine myself getting one.

As famous as the stars
Sunday, October 21, 2007 6:09 AM
Nowadays, rhinoplasty and many other cosmetic surgery procedures have become almost like an investment for showbusiness people. Over the last few years, celebrities have undergone rhinoplasty to further their looks...and..in the long run..their careers.

Big Hollywood names such as Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Cher, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Beyonce, and many others have had rhinoplasty.

But of course, this procedure isn't just famous where the stars reside. There's also rhinoplasty in Oakland and in other locations.

Indeed, this plastic surgery thing has become so famous...almost as famous as the stars. And it has become famous not onky to stars but to common people as well.

Online
Saturday, October 20, 2007 7:59 PM
Millions of people nowadays establish their presence on the Web by means of simple or dynamic websites. The Internet has become an information hub not only for small- or medium- scale companies but also for individuals. One of the latter include Neil Crespi of California who happens to be an active Internet user.

Indeed there are a lot of things that people can do online. Shopping, listening to music, watching videos, socializing, communicating, making money, or just plain chilling. The Internet has become another world for this world to explore.

Modify and Beautify
Saturday, October 20, 2007 6:13 PM
Modify. Beautify. That's what's been going on nowadays with people who can afford. I'm always curious about people who choose to avail of plastic surgery and about the people who make the whole modification and beautification process possible. Boca Raton and Palm Beach plastic surgery offers its own take of these modern procedures. Among those they offer are rhinoplasty, face lift, blepharoplasty, etc.

Innovation has always amazed me. This one isn't an exception. I could only wonder at how far the human mind can travel.

Six-Letter Suffix II
Saturday, October 20, 2007 5:02 PM
I just got back from our Educational trip in the queen city of the south - Cebu. It was a fun-filled experience with me and my fun-loving classmates.

While there, I got the chance to visit a few IT companies and industrial factories. One of the companies we visited had a main office based in New Jersey.

This brought to mind one of my previous entries which was about cosmetic procedures commonly known as words ending in plasty. New jersey cosmetic plastic surgery offers top quality services having America's top doctors to serve you. Too bad it's miles away from people in this country who wish to enhance their beauty.

Dressing Up
Monday, August 27, 2007 8:50 PM

I noticed that the people around me have become fashionable nowadays. Our college publication even placed a collection of pictures of students who have an expressive fashionista nature.

I could see a wide range of clothes these days. Puffed sleeves. Super-shorts. Wedge sandals. And many more. The stuff that people wear isn't necessarily designer clothing but they still look good on it. People have to be practical nowadays. And no, monetary dilemmas do not stop the people from expressing themselves through wearing clothes that are fashionable yet affordable. There are lots of boutique shops who price their stuff low.

People really are dressing up nowadays. As fashion evolved through the years, people have adapted to the changes. And it's fun to be one of those who adapt to the changes. :-D

That Six-Letter Suffix
Monday, August 27, 2007 6:21 AM

Lately, I've been reading stuff which normally ends in this six-letter, now-becoming-famous suffix, plasty. Yes indeed, cosmetic surgery procedures, as I've once mentioned, have become almost like a trend nowadays let it be in show business or the world outside it. Rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty are some examples of these procedures.

Apart from those done in Hollywood, New York plastic surgery is I guess also becoming rampant. Even in here in my country, the Philippines, different kinds of plasty are being embraced by people from different walks of life.

Transformation has become famous, all right. As famous big stars in showbiz. Sooner or later, words ending in that six-letter suffix may become a heck of a phenomenon.

Wanting What You Don't Have
Sunday, August 26, 2007 11:31 PM

I go from eyelid surgery in Cary to tummy tucks in Houston. I'm kind of working on my plasty vocabulary these days, that's why my blog is filled with these kinds of entries. :-D

I'm just kinda intrigued at the things that go on in the world of plastic surgery. I look at stars in Hollywood an in the local showbiz indsutry scene and wonder who among these people haven't undergone cosmetic surgery. Has the procedure become a sort of investment to them?  Is it just a trend that everyone follows? Is it soon to become a culture not only in the world of show business but also outside it? Hmm...I think the world outside showbiz might be getting there. A lot of people choose to undergo such procedures.

I know of one who just got a nose lift. She's a friend of my Mom. A beautiful friend, to boot. She was one of the last people on earth whom I thought would consider getting a nose job or any body-part job for that matter. But she did it anyway. She wasn't content, I guess. People always look for what's not in them or what they don't have. I guess this whole plasty thingy is what it's all about.

Oh well...I'm just gonna be a spectator on this street where people from all walks of surgery life pass by. :-D

Eyes Age Part II
Sunday, August 26, 2007 9:23 PM

Signs of aging are usually first visible around the eyes. That's one fact I just learned from browing this web of info. Not 36 hours ago, I wrote an entry about the eyes undergoing the aging process and how people usually retaliate to that natural phenomena.

Cary eyelid surgery is one manner of retaliation. By Cary, I mean, North Carolina. :-D But people do this around the globe, too.

I think people are getting so concerned about their looks that they get  to the point of fighting nature's process. Hmm...that's what technology is for after all...making the impossible, possible.

Moving Out
Sunday, August 26, 2007 7:06 PM

Not two months ago, my cousin and her husband, together with their little angel moved to San Diego to try and look for greener pastures. I've been browsing the web for any stuff in San Diego that I could so I could tell her about it through chat.

I found food, nice spots and other info about the place. One thing that would sure be helpful to them is this San Diego yellow pages that I found. Events, spas, video rentals, restaurants, and many other. They'd have access to almost everything they could possibly want to find out in their indefinite stay there.

Hmm...I'll be chatting with her in a few hours from now. Can't wait to tell her 'bout it.

What's Buzzin'
Saturday, August 25, 2007 10:36 PM

Being so busy with school, I haven't been able to get much updates on things going on around me. Lately, I haven't seen much news, haven't heard new music, and I haven't read much hollywood gossip.

And so, in this rare few times when I get the chance to blog and wander carelessly around the web, I came across the perfect site to update myself with the latest buzz in Hollywood. Weeks had gone by and so many things has happened. Cameron and John Mayer's hookin' up...Jessica Biel's gonna show some skin...Jessica Simpson breaks her nose...Nicole Ritchie's getting engaged...Lindsay wishes to strighten out her so-chaotic life...and many many more. Poof!

Hit the link I gave ya earlier to see for yourselves. ;-)

Lifting Body Parts
Saturday, August 25, 2007 9:10 PM

In the entertainment industry of both local and international scenes, cosmetic surgery is more than just a necessity. It has become a trend. One could almost even say that it has become a culture.

If boulders are lifted in mine fields, then body parts are what's lifted among people who are in the field of show business. Bust lift, butt lift, facelift, and neck lift procedures are widely done nowadays. Showbiz personalities are basically the trendsetters of these evolutionary procedures. Within this country and around the globe, people undergo transformations.

I hear of people, celebrities or otherwise, get New York neck lift to get back what gravity has taken away from them. People don't only do this in NY but also in lots of other places in the world.

There's one thing that got me to thinking...would I lift part of my body once I get to a certain age? Hmm...I dunno know just yet. But maybe...just maybe...I might.

Permanent Skin Inks
Friday, August 24, 2007 10:38 PM

Booze. Teen stars gone wild. Plastic surgery. Divorce.

What else has become common in Hollywood? Tattoos. And when speaking of the celebrity tattoos, there's always one Hollywood star who'd come to my mind - Angeline Jolie. I've always been intrigued of this puzzling woman's love for tattoos. I believe there's much credit given to the latter in her being one of the most photographed women in Hollywood.

She isn't of course the only woman in Hollywood who's become fond of having permanent inks artistically applied on their bodies. Other famous figures include the Charmed one - Alyssa Milano, former Baywatch babe - Pamela Anderson, Sugababe Mutya Buena, Tiffany Amber Theissen of Beverly Hills 90210, singer Anastacia, and a few other.os.

I guess a lot of people believe that tattoos help boost the sex appeal of stars, or anyone in the world, for that matter. It emphasizes the enigma in a person.

Well...I think I once considered getting a tattoo. But uhm...on second thought, I think I'd just watch Hollywood and the world bring out the enigma in them and leave my skin uninked. :D

Eyes Age
Friday, August 24, 2007 9:50 PM

Our eyes grow old, too as we increase in age. Just as my title says, our eyes age.

I think I'd be rather good at attesting to that considering that I've spent a considerable amount of my adolescent life utilizing (sometimes, abusively) my eyes. I mean being in front of the computer most of the time since I was in high school did a lot in the premature ageing of my eyes...or so I call it. I wear spectacles. And I have astigmatism. See, I told ya I could really attest to this entry's title.

But there are a few ways to fight or even reverse this so-called ageing of our eyes. Chicago eyelid lift surgery could be one. We call it blepharoplasty, the surgery of the eyelid. It's amazing how cosmetic surgery can transform faces and the lives of those who own these faces. Whether the transformation be good or bad, I guess it all would depend on the surgeon and the surgeoned...whatta term. Lol!

Can't Wait Til Sem Break
Friday, August 24, 2007 8:09 PM

Just last week, we received an approved letter of our proposal to pursue an educational trip to different IT companies in Cebu. Woohoo! The planned date would be during the semestral break. Whatta sem break it would be! I love to travel. Whether it be on air or land or sea, I'm always ecstatic each time I'm being transported to another place.

Besides my love for traveling, there's more to be excited about since I'll be with the whole gang, my batchmates. And we'll be exposed to different IT establishments in the heart of Visayas. Can't wait 'til sem break.

I have it all in my mind now. We'll be on a plane goin to Cebu. We'll be staying at inns or hotels as we arrive and stay there. I know the places where we'll be spending the night in won't be like first class San Diego hotels or anything but I'm sure we'll be comfortable enough. And then on our way back to Davao, we'll be on a ferry boat to CDO and finally, we'll be on a 7-hour trip bus ride from CDO to Davao. Geesh...

I'm back to Davao. I mean I'm still in Davao. Hihihi...

I'll stop daydreaming and wait 'til it's sem break, then. :D
