Cool Things in VisualStuido.Net 2005
Monday, October 24, 2005 3:46 PM

Hi There,

Once again, I'm here to reveal the coolest things in Microsoft VisualStudio.Net 2005 (Which is going to be launched in Nov.)

What I like most in this release of VisualStudio.Net is...

  • Intelisense everywhere. You can have it for CSS tags also.
  • Master Pages. Huh! if you want to look and feel your web-application as single one i.e. header/footer, logo, some smart-text on every page at fixed co-ordinates, these pages will help you.
  • Theme support. Now your web-clients can easily change the theme of your web-app as per their choice. No more code writting.
  • Reduced Code. Upt 70%. Great Na.
  • ClickOnce diployment. just click only once and you have your project deployed.
  • ...
  • ....

There are so many advances in this release. I'm keeping my eyes wide open just to see its final product.

VisualStudio.Net 2005 Experience...
Sunday, October 23, 2005 4:08 PM

This is my first ever blog on theSpoke.net.

Today I'm installing the Beta - 2 of Microsoft VisualStudio.Net 2005.

Right from Visual Studio 6.0, Microsoft is adding various extra-ordinary features to its Visual Studio Family. .Net is not the exception. With .Net Framework the style of developing applications completely changed. Every version of framework 1.0,1.1 and 2.0 is unique.

In ol' days we say, 'we are going to develop an application or code an application'. But now we can say, ' we are going to DESIGN an application'. Drag&Drop, VisualStudio.Net made it possible.

I'm so much excited about the net 2.0 framework. I've installed Express/Beta 1 Editions. But I know Beta - 2 will be a real product. And now don't ask for final release. :)
