It is an International Web Development company based in Hawaii. I feel so lucky to be able to work with the company. And I'd like to thank everybody in the office for the warm welcome. I'm able to handle two projects on my third day and it's really nice to hear the word "good job" on your first day. The work is so demanding but I love the challenge and I'm learning a lot. I miss my former colleagues and students. I left them an ASP-built forum and learned that there are almost 6,000 posts within 2 weeks. I’m happy that the AC Community is active and it promotes good communication and friendship among the students.

I was afraid before of not getting a good job after my teaching. But somehow, I trusted my feelings of moving on. I know I want more experience and I want to learn more and expand my knowledge in this field. Sometimes, we have to listen to our inner voices. Once we feel that we are looking for something better, listen to it and believe in yourself. As I have said before, we have to set goals and do something so we can achieve it. I miss reading many posts here. I’ll make up to all of you. I hope everybody’s doing well. Take care and God Bless!

I'm glad they understand the reason of my resignation since we are now a subsidiary of another school. The center had molded me to become a web developer. I have shared my knowledge to students by teaching and worked in different web development projects of the center. I thank them for believing in my capabilities. What will I do next? I'll try to rest for awhile then prepare my resume to find a good job. Thank you AC for the learning, training, experience and friendship! I've enjoyed every moment I worked with the center.

****

With regards to my last post, my co-teacher has been terminated due to more violations of the policies as complained by the students. We as a teacher should be a good example to our students and give good quality education. It became one of our lessons, any school should be careful on hiring teachers. I remember sharing answers with my classmates and everybody answered their best except, I can’t answer one question really well. And that is, “Do you forgive a person who does wrongly towards you?”. I approached my teacher and asked her if I can answer YES, because I only hate one person and not forgive her for how she’s treating me but I have forgiven others. She answered “I am grateful of your honesty but even if it’s only one person, still you don’t forgive. How can God forgive your sins if you don’t know how to forgive? ”.

Until now, her words linger in my mind. Sometimes in our lives when we get hurt we don’t forgive easily, but time will come when we are ready to forgive and may be granted without any expectation of compensation is a part of our salvation. I am happy now because in my heart I have forgiven someone.

God Bless everyone!

Encouragement - Grande Island

Thanks to Bernard and payat for words of encouragement.
***

Just to have fun and relaxation from stress at work. I joined my friends on a Day Tripper package at Grande Island Resort, Subic. Since this is just an "all-of-a-sudden" plan, we took the 500 pesos (US $10) per person worth of package with free lunch and free hut on the island beach. We had a cruise trip to the island, we went trekking to the historical spot "six-inch gun" and battery/artillery storage rooms used during World War II. Which I think I lost a little weight due to long distance walk in the heat. =)

Grande Island was formerly a heavily fortified outpost guarding the entrance of Subic Bay. It has also been used as a safe haven for more than 43,000 Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees during the Vietnam War.

Today's Grande Island became a resort that exhibits a grandeur of nature and has been transformend into a self-contained recreational center off the shores of Subic Bay. Its development highlights tourism structures, amenities, beach facilities and a man-made inland lagoon(though they are now restructuring the inland lagoon till September). The combination of mountain and sea is a perfect scenery. I'm sharing some pictures for everyone. God Bless!

I have my reasons, and wanted to take a rest for awhile. I'm planning to enroll on a gym and pamper myself on a spa. Something that I haven't done for so long. I feel bad of leaving the center but it's time to move on. I'm willing to train my replacement and finish the project that we just started. So I'll be staying for another month. If ever I'll get to a good company I'll be happy to work again or go back study for upgrade. I know I'll be missing teaching, I will miss my students. This is something that I have thought of, and weigh things in my heart. I feel lonely to leave my collegues, actually three of them already left. Now, I just got a call from my brother here in the office that my pet cat "Rayden"of 10 years just died. He's old, and last time I nursed him of his injuries after he's been missing for 4 days.

Today, is really a down-hearted day for me. But you know what? Most people say if you laugh too much you'll cry soon, that is a negative thought. For me, I'm laughing because I was lonely last time. And I cry because tomorrow I'd be laughing again.

Yes I am a cry baby, but what happened today is a better day tomorrow.

Take care people and God Bless!

We have implemented a progress report for the students in order for us to monitor the development of their proposed system from feasibility study to testing. These are the thesis of the 2nd Years Design Project and we implemented the same procedures to 1st Years internet and intranet-based projects. But some things arises when under pressure. Like the sudden change of group status, some may find the other member not contributing much during the development phase. Or lack of coordination among the members. The problem issues is inevitable for such group thesis when there is lack of communication among the members. We have set-up certain protocols and has been suggested an early orientation of a protocol and conditions to students before the Topic Approval. This is just the start of the challenges that they will face, because in the real world there won't be any instructor that will giude them to get the job done.

As for my previous blog, I think things aren't going to that path. I'll scratch that part for the meantime. :)

To all gamers, I'm sure you're familiar with "Silent Hill" a survival horror video game franchise, produced by Konami.. There is now a film adaptation of the said video game distributed by Tristar Pictures. Starring Radha Mitchell as Rose, desperate to find her child Sharon and finds herself trapped in an alternate dimension. Also starring is Sean Bean (played "Boromir" in "Lord of the Rings") as Rose's husband Christopher. It will feature music from the game series. Release date will be on April 21, 2006.

Got really nervious because it's my first time to handle corporate class module and the class started this afternoon right away. All went well on our first day with less preparation. So, thank you Lord! Probably won't be able to blog for awhile or maybe not as usual, lots of workload this trimester. But will keep on reading blogs and praying for my family here at theSpoke! Take care people and God Bless! :D

Yes she's a six week old Dalmatian. Her name is Bubbles originally named Nicole, since my nephew is persistent in caller her "Bubbles". She was a gift for the family. And who else got very much excited but me. She was always excited whenever I come home from work, because even though I'm tired I have time to play with her. She also has a little Kirby to play with and I haven't seen such energy from a puppy before. I made some research about them.

Dalmatian name came from the first approved home Dalmatia, a province in Austria on the Eastern shore of the coast of Venice. There is no question whatsoever that his lineage is as ancient and his record as straight as that of other breeds. Way back in the Egyptian period, there was an engraving of a spotted dog following an Egyptian chariot so as the follower and guardian of the horse-drawn vehicle. No wonder Bubbles used to follow our every footstep in the house. Dalmatians are born purely white and their spots develop quickly. They all ready for sports as nature made them. They said they require only the minimum of care, for they are sturdy and neat and clean. Good for us.

I think we're spoiling her. And my nine year old cat Rayden doesn't mind at all. But hey, she's my baby and she's a very nice gift. She always makes my day!!!

We'll they're not actually giving away computers but how wonderful it is to learn that Sir Bill and Ma'am Melinda in their Gates Foundation are investing quality early learning for children throughout Washington state. It's good news and more children will benefit to have greater chances and success in life. I wish them more power and blessings!
