The student developers succeeded in their mission: they were able to get the data stored in the eye of the monkey. Hoshimi, Ori and Indira spend hours and days, analysing every single image the monkey had memorized.  But this long and painful work finally pays off when they discover an image of Pierre from the monkey’s eyes.  Pierre appears near a strange tree, watching and carefully studying it. The tree is strangely tall, with a very wide trunk. Its size reflects the age of the tree, maybe about 3000 years old. The foliage is very green, and the leaves have a small round shape. Just next to the tree are objects that the team can’t quite understand. In the images, Pierre seems convinced that this tree is important to what he’s looking for.

Searching on the Internet, they find out that the tree is the sacred symbol of an ancient Indian tribe: the Toukasthas. When the professor hears this name, he understands why Pierre was there.

In fact, while he was working on the city of Indraprastha, he discovered that there were some survivors of the mystical city who made their way into modern society over the years. At some point in time, a disease from the outside world had managed to make it to the city and destroy much of the population.  From that time the people who fled the city and formed a secret society that would guard the city’s location.  Hoshimi quickly realized that the ambassador’s family was from the ancient civilization and this explained how he knew so much about the city.  Instantly the team realized the remaining tribe was now in danger and they had to help them fast.

Toukastha

Their adventure continues, and they are now, on their way to northern India, where the Toukastha’s tribe is rumoured to have a center for their secret society.  After days of searching they arrive in a remote village.  The local people are not friendly to the strangers and very suspicious. The oldest man of the village comes to them, and asks them to leave immediately. Indira explains to them that an evil man is trying to reach and control Indraprastha and that the tribe is in danger from this man. The elder man invites them in his house, where Hoshimi, Ori and Indira can tell the whole story of what brought them to this place.

Understanding the situation, the wise man tells them of an incident that occurred just a few months ago : “A stranger was here, prowling in the surrounding areas… He was killing our forest, and one day, he arrived to the village. He was talking about the mystical city, but the chief, the only one to know, would not tell him anything. He left without saying a word. But one day, the chief was gone. He had disappeared… with the stranger. Our men looked for him, but they couldn’t find him… And one day, he came back, exhausted, and since then, he sleeps… After that, our sacred tree is dying, and that is all because of you, people interested in our legends!” he says, with a look of anger.

While the tribe would not trust the professor to cure the Chief, they would allow him to try his hand at curing the tree that was now dying.  While the professor did not want to wait to help the Chief, he understood the tribe needed proof of his abilities.

The professor was sure that there were no reasons that the nanobots medicine would not work on a tree, which is a living organism.

Your mission will be to cure the sacred tree of the tribe of Toukastha.
