Industry Standard Saturday

I tend to do the same things each Saturday. Wander up town and see if there are any new computer games/gadgets out there. Then come back and clean the house. I think the novelty has worn off the cleaning lark. The one good thing is that our vacum cleaner has a transparent container so we can watch it fill up with dust. I love that because it provides evidence of progress.

I wish I followed football + SPORT with greater enthusiasm. Then I could enjoy the next two month's TV output. As it is, we are wending our way through season four of Babylon 5 on DVD at the moment. Really, really, really good. The "Shadows" (tm) have been vanquished (or have they?) but now something else evil is coming over the horizon. Lovely stuff...

I love Babylon 5. Adventure, diplomacy, heroism, villainy, and ambiguous ethical situations all rolled into one great show full of well developed characters. It's everything good science fiction should be. I'm going to have to go out and get that dvd set now.
