Home is where the broadband is

I'm back for a little while. Just had four days in London. As usual we tried to do everything and mostly succeeded. Although I now need a holiday to recover from the holiday. Highlights were:
  • Seeing the play "When Harry met Sally". Wonderful and very well staged.
  • Going to the Science Museum and playing with their toys.
  • Foyles Bookshop.
  • Seeing I Robot on the big, digital, screen at Leicester Square (a good action film, but not big on philosophy)
  • Visiting the Edward Hopper exhibition at Tate Modern. Fantastic pictures.
  • Walking the Millennium Bridge.
  • Harrods.
  • Foyles Bookshop again.
  • Covent Garden.
  • London Transport Museum.
  • Going anywhere on the tube.

I'm presently sifting through a bunch of pictures but I won't get the chance to put them up for a while. Oh, and I think I've found a fault with the english language. I saw a balloon on a string. Now, if the balloon was heavier than air it would dangle from the string. Since this one was full of helium it didn't. But what is the word that describes what it did do?

Yep. I thought about float but it doesn't describe what the balloon actually does, where as with dangle you know exactly what is going on. A balloon can float away, as well as float on a string. Ah well, I wonder if there is a place where you can patent new words? Oh, and there is no prize I'm afraid.
