Just sat through a Star Wars marathon. Number one son is leaving us on Saturday to go to university. So we had to watch the last two Star Wars movies back to back on DVD.

Amazing stuff. But there are a few quirks. Darth Vader has some flashing lights on his chest. Why? It must make it really hard to sneak up on people in the dark. And who looks at them? Do people say "Your're looking a bit red-green-yellow-red today Darth"? If Darth becomes ill does he look down and go "Blimey, that can't be right." before keeling over. And he kept making people Admiral just before killing them for incompetence. None of them asked about the company pension plan. I suspect there wasn't one. And we still can't work out why the Ewoks all have very old pairs of underpants on their heads. But then again it was a long time ago in a galaxy far away...
