So, on that Digby's post below, when it list "Chipie" that's not the slang term for a girl, is it? I was completely baffled by the whole list. I guess I'm not as cosmopolitan as I thought.

Hmm. I think that they are all made up names on the grounds that people will think that they are cool because they have never heard of them. As far as I'm aware Chipie is not a slang term for girl. (although, as a true gentleman, I've never ever used a slang term for a girl of coures).

I try to use insulting slang as much as possible, and I don't recognize it. Hope that doesn't mean I'm getting old!
