Last night I finished Halo 2. Yep, got right to the end. I realise that proper gameplayers did this only a few hours after they bought the game (and they didn't play it on "Easy"). However, I still regard this as something of an accomplishment.

I probably managed to get there because number one son is not here. Normally I hand games over for him to deal with after a while. But then again, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Today I snuk out and got the authorised game guide (I figured I'd earned it).  It is worth getting hold of just for the production values. There is some lovely artwork from the game and some nice background materia (as well as information about where all the guns are).

Next I'm going to have another run through the campaign on a higher difficulty level. Then I'm going to dip my toe in XBOX Live. You never know, that guy you shoot in the head as he stands around aimlessly looking like he doesn't know what to do could be me....
