Rather than spend too much time rebuilding my office PC I've instead transferred everything to the new notebook (I know that you are all very keen to hear how I do my computing). I plug the notebook into my big monitor and bendy keyboard in the office and work just about as normal. I've set up a secure connection to mey email so I am now in "work anywhere" mode.

Which is rather nice. My notebook is has been upgraded from "thing I use around the place" to "only thing I use". And it works very well.

Back into lecturing harness today. Did a couple of lectures and quite enjoyed them (not sure that the audience thought). One of them was at 5:15 pm, which made for a late finish. But it did get me out of making tea. One final clue for the film I watched last week and then I'll give you the answer tomorrow.
