I bought another book last week. This one has nothing to do with computers though. A chap called Nick Wood has taken a whole bunch of panoramic pictures of New York. He sets down a tripod in the middle of somewhere interesting and uses his Nikon to take a whole bunch of pictures which he then stiches together:

You can find a link to the book here. Some of the pictures are breathtaking. There is also a CD attached to the book which is quite good, but nowhere near as impressive as the printed pictures. A nice coffee table book.

And of course I'm now keen to go and see the Big Apple. I want to stand at each and every location and find out if I see the same picture...
