Portable Media Centre Fun

I've had the Portable Media Centre for a while now and I must say it has grown on me. I've got around 240 albums, 15 movies and 1,500 pictures on it. Since I upgraded the firmware I've noticed something strange about the battery. It doesn't seem to go flat any more. Most impressive. I esepcially like listing to music with the pictures on random slideshow, otherwise I'd probably never see them.

I've now signed up for Napster To Go, and I've been able to get hold of quite a few albums and put them on the machine. If a new album comes out, or I hear a track on the radio I like, I just download it next time I connect and and take it way at no extra cost.

Great fun and highly reccommended. The funny thing is though, I hardly ever watch films on it.

I always watched films or tv progs on mine while i worked, i found i worked better with coupling on in the background than music. Tho i took both mine back since the hdd failed in the two i got (the original and replacement). Saving those pennies back up tho

You'd probably watch more movies if your were a passenger (cars, trains, or airplanes). I think that those would be the only times I would watch movies on a hand held device.

And at a REAL push, you can watch films on a Smartphone. Not the best way to see them, but it save lugging a laptop or similar around with you on a train.
