Fun and Games at GEN05

So at 12:30 today we all boarded the charabang to head off  to the Microsoft GEN05 event at Leeds. Lured by promise of goodies and info in equal measure the Hull posse was in good sprits as the coach rumbled down the motorway. I took the little camera to record the event.

A presentation in full swing

Andy Sterland and his nametag do the business.

Some of the Hull crew on the way out. Note full bags and hands clutching swag.

Lovely Leeds traffic on the way out.

It  was good to meet up with all the Microsoft mob (it is a bit like a class reunion when we all get together). Also nice to meet some new folks and put faces to email addresses. Thanks for setting out some neat stuff, particularly the new mobile devices which are ultra-covetable.

I wish I'd been able to go to that, but sadly coursework got the better of me (again!).

Are all British IT events held in massive churches?
