Live Drama

I'm back in Hull after a brief break. Came back to a credit card bill and a broken pinball machine. Paid the bill and now I'm after an 0.156" 11 Way connector header with Friction Lock to fix the machine. The old connector had quite literally burnt out. I've found a place where I can get one for the princely sum of 90 pence. But not for a few days. Never mind.

Just finished watchng "The Quatermass Experiment" on BBC 4. This was a live TV drama based on some old British SF from around 45 years ago. They did the whole thing on the fly, two hours of drama, from the spaceship crash landing to climax at the Tate Modern. Very impressive and edgy. If you get the chance to watch a recording I'd thoroughly reccommend it. It is what we brits pay our TV licence for. Next week on Thursday they are doing another "flash opera" on BBC 3 where they take over a location and invite the public to come along and sing in the chorus. Find out more here. We saw a recording of the first one and are quite looking forward to this.
