Just got back from a Microsoft MVP Open Day. In the Olde Days (tm) if you wanted to be invigorated (and probably make a bunch of new contacts) you'd probably head down to the local spa. I reckon that going to a Microsoft event works just about the same for me (but without the salty water).

There were a whole bunch of presentations about interesting stuff which is going to go straight into projects for next year (some of the ways in which you can augment Office and also use it as a component in your programs were very interesting). I also met up with a bunch of interesting people and made some good contacts for Slide 5. And there were some old friends there too. I'll add some more detail later on, but for now thanks very much folks - particularly Lorna who seemed to be able to be in around three places at once for most of yesterday.
